A drainage tap can be readily fixed in a face-to-face manner to the wall of a plastics drainage bag and is easily operated by a user. The tap has a body (34) and a valve member (50) therein, and the latter is held within the body (34) by engagement of an external rib (58) on the valve member (50) in a slot (35) which extends into a flange (36) of the body (34). |
