The active substances of the formula I <IMAGE> and the salts or stereochemical isomers thereof have an effect on the metabolism and the growth processes in plants and parts of plants. They can therefore be used as plant growth regulators in a large number of cultivated monocotyledon and dicotyledon plants. In the formula I, R<1> is hydrogen, C1-C5-alkyl, C3-C4-alkenyl, C3-C4-alkynyl or C2-C4-alkoxyalkyl, R<2> and R<3> independently of one another are C1-C4-alkyl, or R<2> and R<3> together with the carbon atom carrying them are a cycloalkyl ring have 3 to 7 carbon atoms, R<4> and R<5> independently of one another are hydrogen or C1-C4-alkyl, R<6> and R<7> independently of one another are hydrogen, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, nitro, C1-C4-haloalkyl, C1-C4-haloalkoxy or halogen, and n is the number zero or one.n |
