The present invention relates to processes for the manufacture of a composite structural material, the devices enabling the said processes to be implemented and the products obtained. The process and the device are essentially characterised in that by first means 1-5 there are unwound at least three bands, respectively of a reinforcing support 6, of a spongy material 7, 8 and of a mould- release material 11, 12, over a first path so that the bands are spaced apart, by second means 17 there is injected into the spaces 9, 10, 13, 14 an expandable foam in liquid form and in that there is provided means 16 for exerting compressive forces over the assembly of the three bands after the liquid foam has been injected. Application to the continuous manufacture of composite structural materials for the construction of various elements in numerous fields such as the industrial, the building and the leisure fields etc. <IMAGE> |
