PURPOSE:To obtain a ceramic sintered body having high and nearly uniform strength by molding a molding compsn. by a specified method in two steps and sintering the molded body. CONSTITUTION:A molding compsn. consisting of ceramic powder and a binder is premolded to a shape similar to the shape of an end product. The premolded body is press-molded in a metal mold having a desired shape at a controlled molding rate. After the binder is removed by heating, the press-molded body is sintered. |
