<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate assembling and dissembling units to a main body and to easily replace the units in case of faults by constituting a paper feed system of units. CONSTITUTION:A case 2 is composed of a paper feed guide plate 20, a cassette guide 21 having a cassette bottom plate elevating plate 22 provided on the facing side of the plate 20 and double side plates 23 and 24 having part pieces whose one sides are bent at right angle. The plates 23 and 24 are provided with pin insertion grooves 23a engaging with pins for positioning the main body, and with pin insertion holes 23b and 24b. Positioning pins fitted in the pin insertion grooves 23a and the pin insertion holes 23b and 24b are provided on the column on the side of the main body and on the bottom plate. A paper feed drive mechanism engaging with that of the main body is provided in the case 2. With the aid of attaching screws the case 2 can be attached on and detached from the main body. Thus the photosensitive unit and the paper feed unit can be positioned precisely, and they can be easily attached and detached with two attaching screws. Besides, the paper feed drive mechanism engages with the drive mechanism of a printer main body accurately and easily by positioning.</p> |
