PURPOSE:To obtain the titled sintered body having a lustrous fine gold color tone, superior hardness, scratch and corrosion resistances and heat conductivity by adding a prescribed amt. of one or more kinds of oxides selected among TiO2, Nb2O5, TaO, MoO3, WO3, Y2O3 and oxides of lanthanides to TiN as a principal component. CONSTITUTION:TiN powder of <=10mum particle size as a principal component is mixed with 0.5-10wt.% one or more kinds of oxides of <=5mum particle size selected among TiO2, niobium oxide, tantalum oxide, molybdenum oxide, tungsten oxide, yttrium oxide and oxides of lanthanides as sintering assistants. The mixture is press-molded and sintered at 1,600-1,850 deg.C for 30min-5hr in a nonoxidizing atmosphere of N2 or the like or in vacuum. |
