PURPOSE:To permit the sure shut-off operation of a burner, by a method wherein a lever energizing means is set so as to develope a strong energizing force and the locking of an oil feeding and burner shut-off lever is released by locking body at least after the pin of an oil feeding port is separated from the oil feeding valve of a cartridge tank. CONSTITUTION:The lever energizing spring 23 of the oil feeding burner shut-off lever 21 is designed so as to develope an energizing force, stronger than a load, in which at least the initial reslilient force of a spring 27 for energizing the oil feeding valve 28 of a cartridge tank 24 is subtracted from the empty weight of the cartridge tank 24, and weaker than the empty weight of the cartridge tank 24 when the pin of an oil feeding port 26 is separated from the oil feeding valve 28 of the cartridge tank 24. Accordingly, a lock body 12 can be pushed up surely when the cartridge tank 24 is pulled out for the feeding of oil. When the empty cartridge tank 24 is engaged with the oil feeding port 26 in order to effect no-oil burning, the locking of the cartridge tank 24 is not released and the no-oil burning may be effected.
