PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of machining liquid which fails to be effectively used by installing a hollow machining liquid nozzle slidably and expandably/ contractibly in an alignment with a machining liquid conveying pipe, pressing the free surface of a workpiece by means of an elastic body, and feeding a machining liquid to a machining part. CONSTITUTION:A machining liquid feeding nozzle 3 which is formed with resin, etc. having small friction coefficient is installed slidably and expandably/ contractibly in an alignment with the inside of a machining liquid conveying pipe 4, and a wire electrode 2 is inserted through its center while the nozzle 3 is energized in its projecting direction by means of a coil spring 5 which is received by a ledge 4a. At the time of electric discharge machining, the machining liquid feeding nozzle 3 is pressed against and closely attached to a workpiece 1 against the compression force of the coil spring 5, and a machining liquid is fed into a machining gap between the wire electrode 2 and the workpiece 1. Thereby, the quantity of machining liquid which fails to be effectively used for cooling a machining part or for removing machining dust produced by electric discharge machining, etc. can be extremely reduced.
