At least one mechanical reinforcement layer (6) is incorporated in the microphone, together with inner and outer protective layers (3,10) for electrical insulation and protection against mechanical effect on the other layers. The electrically conductive contact layers (4,5) have electrical wire connections (7,8,20,21) and the laminated plate is surrounded by at least one protective ring (2) of highly rigid material, and at least one pliancy protection (12) connected to the protective ring so that bending movements in the laminated plate as the result of pressure effects directed from the inner protective layer (3) are limited. - At least one signal amplification component (11), e.g. a field effect transistor is encapsulated in the protective ring. At least one holder is connected firmly to the protective ring or pliancy protection (12) to retain the microphone against the body surface of a human being or animal, and this by means of an elastic band, mechanical contact between the holder and the band occurring at only one point along the length of the band. The piezo-electric layer (1) is of a polarised ceramic material, e.g. lead zirconate-titanate, or a polarised polymer material, e.g. polyvinylidenfluoride. |
