PURPOSE:To make the device of the title usable for mass production of a small number of sorts of products at a high work speed and light cutting by installing ball bearings with a preload given along the peripheral surface of an oval drive plate and providing an endless resilient tooth belt having teeth cut along the periphery engaged with its circumference for composing a drive body on the input side. CONSTITUTION:A drive plate 5 rotates through balls 9 by rotation of a servo motor while causing elastic deformation of an outer ring 10, and engagement points I between the teeth of a resilient tooth belt 7, and the teeth 15, 16 of a brake and a drive ring 13, 14 facing with vertical interval of 180 deg. move in order. However, since rotation of the resilient tooth belt 7 is restricted by engagement with the brake ring 13, so only the engagement points I with the teeth 15 of the brake ring 13 move in order. In the meanwhile, since the drive ring 14 on the output side can freely rotate, if the drive plate 5 rotates by 180 deg., then, because the number of the teeth 16 of the drive ring 14 is larger by two than that of the teeth 11 of the tooth belt 7, it is fed for the half the difference between the teeth numbers, that is, for one tooth, in the rotation direction of the drive plate 5, thereby the indexing table is rotated for an equivalent quantity to one teeth of the teeth 16 of the drive ring 14. |
