PURPOSE:To obtain a solenoid coil which generates no high stress strain and can ensure a high current density, by loading a ceramic oxide powder exhibiting superconducting characteristics into a spiral groove formed in the circumferential surface of a heat-resistant roll having a circumferential surface, pressing it, and thereafter calcinating it. CONSTITUTION:Both recessed and projecting rolls 10, 20 are rotated while they are contacted with each other, with projecting parts 21 and a groove 11 being fitted together in the contact part. From a hopper 30 moving at a constant speed in the direction parallel with the rotating shaft of the recessed roll 10, a powder 34 of a ceramic oxide prepared in the preceding process is dropped into the groove 11. The powder 34 loaded into the groove 11 is pressed and molded in a molding space formed by the fitting of the projecting parts 21 and the groove 11, and successively molded into a coil body. The coil body is calcinated along with the recessed roll 10. A coil 40 the calcination of which has completed is covered with a cover 42, forming a solenoid coil. With this, a solenoid coil can be obtained which generates no high stress strain and can ensure a high current density. |
