PURPOSE:To easily execute the loading/ejecting operation of a developer cartridge and the peeling of a sheet by providing the titled device with a drop checking means for checking the drop of the cartridge and a cover body press contact supporting member for pressing and supporting a cover body for covering a developer feeding port of the cartridge from its side. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with the drop checking member 40 for checking the drop of the developing cartridge C by abutting upon the cartridge C inserted into a prescribed position of a developer feeding part B from its side and capable of being deformed in the drop check releasing direction at the time of inserting the cartridge C and the cover body 24 press contact supporting member 42 pressing the cover body 24 for covering the developer feeding port of the cartridge C at the time of ejecting the cartridge C from its side at the time of inserting the cover body 24 into a prescribed position of the feeding part B and deforming the member 40 in the releasing direction at the time of pressing and supporting the cover body 24. Consequently, the loading/ejecting operation of the developer cartridge and the opening/closing operation of sheets can be easily executed by a single hand. |
