PURPOSE:To produce the composite sheet with high quality, while its independent foam protrusions are not broken under fusion by welding together the crest of the corrugation of one side corrugated board paper provided with the resin or welding and the independent foam protrusion sheet made of thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:The independent foam protrusion sheet 1 made of thermoplastic resin is fed from a delivery part F through a guide roll I, and on one hand, one-side corru gated based paper 3 is fed from a delivery part G. The one-side corrugated board paper 3 is fed so that the speed of the corrugated side surface corresponds to that of the outer peripheral surface of a regulating roll B. The clearance between a contact roll C and the regulating roll B is regulated so that the resin 4 for welding adheres to the crest of the corrugation by the contact roll C. The crest surface of the corruga tion to which the resin 4 for welding adheres over the total length, is brought in contact with the base side (or the bulged side) of the independent foam protrusion sheet 1, and the crest of the corrugation and the base side are welded together by weld compaction rolls D1, D2, whereby the composite sheet 5 may be formed.
