PURPOSE:To realize the coexistence of plural radio systems, by generating an electromagnetic field in a cable shielded with an object which transmits the electromagnetic field, and close-coupling the object to a coupler placed on a side opposite to the cable. CONSTITUTION:The cable 33 installed on the floor 60 of an office is covered with a carpet 61, and the coupler 43 is placed on the cable. The conductor for a high frequency signal of the cable 33 is formed in such a way that at least a aprt of it is formed with a substance possible to be magnetized such as iron, etc., and the positions of the coils 43b of the couplers 43 and 53 are held right above the cable 33 by the magnets 43c and 43d of the couplers 43 and 53. The cable 33 is a close coupling type cable in which the required level of the electromagnetic field can be obtained in the neighborhood of the cable and the micro level of the electromagnetic field is obtained at a separated part. Therefore, no interference on another radio system using the same carrier frequency is given by the electromagnetic field generated from the cable 33.
