METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STICKING POSTCARD TO BAND-SHAPED PHOTOGRAPHIC PAPER

PURPOSE:To provide an automated method and device for sticking postcards to band- shaped photographic paper which are improved in working efficiency by sticking only the one side edge of the postcard positioned on the traveling direction side of said paper locally to the rear face of the paper, then sending the postcard to the next press sticking stage and sticking the postcard over the entire surface of the paper, thereby obviating the generation of unequal sticking. CONSTITUTION:The band-shaped photographic paper P which is tentatively held stopped stands by while part thereof is kept locally curved and deformed to the shape projecting toward a sticking base 31 side. The sticking base 31 rises to this paper P and the end of the stacked postcards L on the side of the direction where the photographic paper progresses is lifted so that one end of the postcard L positioned in the uppermost part is locally adhered to the paper P. The paper P resumes traveling thereafter while said paper is held adhered with one end of the postcard. The paper is then sent between a pair of upper and lower postcard sticking roller and press contact roller by which the postcard L and the rear face of the photographic paper are stuck to each other over the entire surface.
