PURPOSE:To enhance close contact of a conductor with foamed insulation layer by forming a plastic film on the conductor, and then forming a foamed insulation layer. CONSTITUTION:A conductor is passed through a plasma gaseous phase polymerization can to form a plastic film synthetized by plasma polymerization on this conductor. This plastic film is covered with extruded foamed tubing consisting of plastics in the same or different type as/from the plastic film, and at the same time, the plastic film and foamed tubing are melted fast together to form a foamed insulation layer. This can enhance close contact of the conductor with foamed insulation layer when foamed insulation of a plastic material with high melting point is extruded to provide a covering, or when, foamed insulation is extruded to provide covering on a conductor with small dia.
