<p>NEW MATERIAL:The N-methyl-alpha-dialkylaminoacetohydroxamic acid derivative of formula I (R1 and R2 are CH3 or C2H5). EXAMPLE:The compound of formula II. USE:A deacylation agent effective in eliminating a protecting group in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals or releasing a photographic reagent from a precursor of said reagent. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting the compound of formula II with CH3NH-OH in methanol in the presence of Na2CO3 and reacting the resultant compound of formula III with a compound of formula IV in a mixture of methanol and water. As an alternative method, the compound of formula I is produced by reacting a compound of formula V with CH3NH-OH at room temperature for 1 week.</p> |
