<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a container excellent in buckling strength sufficient to withstand the force at the time of seaming and heat resistance, by forming the container from a plastic film containing a polyethylene terephthalate layer having predetermined crystallinity. CONSTITUTION:A plastic film containing a polyethylene terephthalate layer containing a crystal promoting uncleus agent is used and subjected to thermal molding so as to adjust the crystallinity of polyethylene terephthalate to 10-40% to prepare a container. As the nucleus agent, an olefinic resin, for example, a polyethylene resin or a polypropylene resin is added in a small amount of about 0.5-2.0%. This plastic film also has an excellent gas barrier property but, in order to enhance a steam barrier property, a coextrusion sheet with an olefinic resin such as polypropylene is desirably sued and, in order to further enhance the gas barrier property, a plastic film containing an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer layer is desirably used. The container 2 itself has strength and heat resistance sufficient to withstand double seaming and can be hermetically sealed by double seaming using a metal lid 3.</p> |
