CO-NI ALLOY POWDER BINDER FOR PRODUCTION OF CERMET

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce cermet having excellent heat resistance without imparing the sinterability thereof by using the fine powder of an Ni-Co alloy having a specific compsn. with a metal as a binder for sintering at the time of producing the cement by mixing the ceramics and the metal in a power state. CONSTITUTION:The powder of the Ni-Co alloy contg. 25-75wt.% Ni and having <=10mum average grain size is used as the binder at the time of producing the cement by sintering the powder of hard ceramics such as WC or TiC with the metal as the binder. The resultant cermet excels both in the sinterability and the heat resistance.
