PURPOSE:To reduce the waiting time in utilizing repetitively a reproduced data by using a microcomputer to manage a track number and a selector number of a data stored in each memory area of a buffer memory. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic disk driver main body 10 provided with a buffer memory 13 and an error correction processing section 15 is controlled by a micro (host) computer 1. The data subjected to error correction processing in the memory 13 is transferred to the computer 1. The data reproduced from an optional sector of a magnetic disk 21 is stored in each memory area of the memory 13 under the control of the computer 1 and the processing section 15 applies respectively error correction processing. Then the computer 1 manages the number of each memory area of the memory 13, the data track number and sector number stored in each memory area. Thus, the waiting time in utilizing the reproduced data over plural sectors of the floppy disk repetitively is reduced.
