PURPOSE:To simply obtain a detection pipe, by supporting a color reagent of every kind by a carrier such as oxide and filling a fine pipe with the reagent supported carrier at high density. CONSTITUTION:For example, potassium iodide is received in a container 3 as a color reagent being a chemical substance generating chemical reaction with an analyzer and ion exchange water is added to the container to dissolve potassium iodide. Powder or granular aluminum oxide 1 becoming a carrier is mixed with the aqueous potassium iodide solution. The resulting mixture is allowed to stand in a vacuum desiccator 4 for about 2hr to be evaporated to dryness to apply the chemical substance to the carrier or to adsorb the same by said carrier. The aluminum 1 having the color reagent supported thereby is brought into contact with the opening part provided to one end of a transparent plastic capillary 6 and sucked from the other end of the capillary 6 under vacuum and one end of the opening part on the suction side is temporarily sealed with a glass fiber 5a. By this method, a detection pipe is simply obtained.
