PURPOSE:To make a punched shearing face a high quality by forming a finishing surface in an uniform flatness and to extend a punch service life by mounting a punched plate on several parted punches and executing the lap finishing of the punch surface of which insertion amt. is made the same plane. CONSTITUTION:A punched plate stock 9 is mounted on a stripper plate 4, the projection amt. of a punch 5 from the punched hole of the plate stock 9 is adjusted by rotating a screw jack 7 by a handle 8 and the punch 5 surface is made the same as the plate face. In this state the punch 5 surface is subjected to lap finishing by a hand lapping rod 10. The plate 9 face plays the role of a plane rule and finishes the punch 5 surface in uniform flatness. Consequently the punched shearing face of the plate is made of high quality, the product accuracy is improved and the punch life can be extended as well.
