PURPOSE:To easily execute the measurement of the max. stoppage time of an individual press device, the calculation of the safe distance, etc., by making such a structure as taking off a signal from the mechanism which is owned by almost of all press devices like a crank angle gage and slide. CONSTITUTION:In a stop signal generating unit 10, first, 14a, 14b are the contact of the limit switch worked by an actuator 14. The contact 14a is connected to the power source 25 inside a measurement display unit 20 with its one part of terminal via a measurement display unit actuating signal output cord 17- connector 17a-connector 23a-input cord 23. The terminal of the other part is similarly connected to the input of the negative logic of the AND gates 26, 27 of a display unit via the output cord 17-connector 17a-connector 23 a-input cord 23. The contact 14b is also connected in series to an emergency stop circuit 31 in a press control circuit 30. When, therefore, any contact point of the emergency stop circuit 31 or the contact point 14b is broken, an emer gency stop operation is done and a press stops.
