<p>PURPOSE:To dispense with the discrimination between the noise component from a pressurizing means and the pulse pressure signal from a pulse pressure sensor to easily and accurately measure a blood pressure value, by stopping the operation of the pressurizing means when the blood pressure value is measured. CONSTITUTION:A control means 10 intermittently outputs a pressurizing signal to a pressure pump 4. The pressurizing pump 4 alternately repeats pressurizing operation and the stoppage thereof to raise the cuff pressure of a cuff 2 stepwise. The control means 10 processes the pulse pressure signal from a pulse pressure sensor 8 at the time when the output of the pressurizing signal is stopped to determine the min. blood pressure value and the max. blood pressure value and these values are displayed on a display apparatus 14. After the determination of the blood pressure values is finished, the control means 10 operates a rapid exhaust valve 6 to rapidly discharge cuff pressure.</p> |
