发明名称 PRESSURIZED POURING DEVICE FOR MOLTEN METAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the disturbance of a molten metal flow by gas leakage by imposing a crucible contg. a molten metal on an annular cooling body via a guide sleeve which is made of the same material as the material of the crucible and is interposed in the bottom of the crucible at the time of allowing the molten metal to fall down in the form of continuous yarn from the bottom nozzle of the crucible. CONSTITUTION:The graphite crucible 3 is placed in a melting vessel 1 and the metal in the crucible is heated and melted by a high-frequency coil 6 on the outside circumference. The surface of the molten metal is pressurized by a high-pressure inert gas such as Ar from an introducing port 17 and a stopper 14 is raised to allow the molten metal to flow in the form of the continuous yarn from the nozzle 15 in the bottom of the crucible. This device is utilized for low-pressure casting, producing of metal powder, etc. The guide sleeve 10 which supports the base of the crucible 3 is made of the same graphite as the graphite of the crucible 3 and the bottom part thereof is brought into contact with the annular cooling body 9. Since the crucible 3 and the guide sleeve 10 are made of the same material and have the equal coefft. of thermal expansion, the spacing by a difference in the thermal expansion is not generated and both are completely sealed and, therefore, the discontinuous flow of the molten metal by the leak gas is prevented.
