PURPOSE:To secure a stable zero display by finding measured values of scale intervals fractionized by display intervals and displaying a value obtained by excluding a lower-order measurement interval. CONSTITUTION:A measuring circuit 20 consists of a counting circuit 21, a CPU 22, and a register 31 which includes a 1st register 32 and a 2nd register 35. This measuring circuit 20 finds measured values of measurement intervals which are fractionized more than display measurement intervals of the least significant display digit of a display device 40 from the output signal of a displacement detector 10 and outputs values obtained by excluding values corresponding to measurement intervals of lower order than the display measurement intervals of the measured values as display values. Consequently, even if a counting change point and a mechanical origin position do not meet each other and even if there is variance in counted value almost at a zero set position, the display value can be stabilized to zero unless the variance exceeds a display measurement interval equivalent value. |
