PURPOSE:To easily perform the registration of a specific area name to complement a retrieval condition, by providing a correspondence area name storage means which stores an area code corresponding to an area name and a relative area storage means which stores a specific area code corresponding to a user. CONSTITUTION:A memory 5 is provided with an area name correspondence table as the correspondence area name storage means and a relative area registration table as the relative area storage means. The area code inputted from a keyboard 2 is stored in the relative area registration table correspondingly to the user. And when retrieval is performed by complementing the area name as the retrieval condition, the area name stored in the area correspondence table shown as the area code stored in the relative area registration table corresponding to the user is complemented as the retrieval condition. In such a way, it is possible to perform the registration of the specific area name to complement the retrieval condition easily.
