PURPOSE:To shorten a processing time by constituting a numerical control device equipped with a function not to generate an overlapped tool path. CONSTITUTION:With use of a keyboard 3 from a drawing 8 on a CRT display 4, an outside shape and an inside shape are inputted. Then, a CPU1 first, obtains an outside nominal contour and an inside nominal contour are obtained in accordance with a new control program on a memory 2. Next, at the process where the inside nominal contour is successively off-set to the outside, the crossing of the off-setting contour and the outside nominal contour is one place, and then, first the AND contour of both is generated. Next, the DIFF contour of both is generated. Thereafter, the contour to off-set the DIFF contour is generated. Thus, the overlapped path is deleted, an efficient tool path is generated and the processing time can be shortened.
