The sealable bag comprises two walls 1, 2 lying one against the other, a mouth 5, a bottom P and a member by which the mouth of the bag can be sealed after the bag has been filled. The member for sealing the mouth of the bag consists of an adhesive strip 6 standing essentially in the direction of the edge 8 of the mouth 5 and arranged at a distance E from the mouth. It is fastened in the first wall of the bag to the section 6a located by the mouth 5. The adhesive strip 6 has a bonding tape 10 and a protective paper 9 which is located on top of the same and can be detached. The adhesive strip 6 further has a grab part 11, which can be grasped, whereupon the protective paper 9 or the like can be detached from the bonding tape or the like. At least the protective paper 9 or the like of the adhesive strip extends beyond at least one of the side edges of the bag wall to form the said grab part 11 for detachment of the protective paper 9 or the like. <IMAGE>
