The invention relates to a heat-exchange and sound-proofing device 1 for a boiler of the heat-transfer-fluid type, equipped with a body in which at least one burner is provided and which is surrounded, at least partially, by a jacket for circulation of the said fluid. The device according to the invention is noteworthy in that it includes a plurality of baffles which are provided in the body of the boiler along the path for exhausting the combustion gases and the shape of which determines a sinuous path for the combustion gases and causes, on the one hand, surface contacting (licking) of the inner wall of the body 1 acting as a wall for heat exchange with the jacket for circulating the heat-transfer fluid and, on the other hand, a succession of zones for compressing and expanding the said gases. <IMAGE> |
