The invention relates to formwork making it possible to join "U-shaped building blocks", without tedious preparation or manipulation, in order to produce a reinforced concrete peripheral tie. It consists of two walls 1 comprising bends 3 giving them stiffness and with bends 4 giving them stiffness and positioning them on the "U-shaped building blocks" 7. Holes 5 allow a wire 6 to be passed through, for clamping the walls 1 after torsion. After the reinforced concrete peripheral tie has been poured and hardened, the formwork is removed by cutting the wire. The formwork according to the invention is particularly intended to be used in the construction of buildings. <IMAGE>
