PURPOSE:To enable the ejection of a control rod driving mechanism (CRD) exchanger so that bottom entry is efficiently executed by pulling a multi-point sensor constituted of one line in the lower direction of a reactor bottom wall, cutting the sensor and housing the sensor into a cask having the same outside diameter as the outside diameter of the control rod driving mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A clamper 18 of the multi-point sensor 16 constituted of one line is constituted of a stator 48, a moving element 49 and piston actuating parts 50-54 and is provided to a driving rod 56 of a holding cylinder 55. A cutter 19 of the multi-point sensor 16 is constituted of a cutting blade 57, a receiver 58 and piston actuating parts 59-61 and is provided to the cylinder 55. The cask 17 having the same shape as the shape of the CRD is disposed below an in-core flange 14 by a CRD exchanger and the multi-point sensor 16 housed in a sheath pipe 8 in the reactor bottom wall 1a by a clamper 18 is pulled downward and is cut by a cutter 19. The cut sensor is housed in the cask 17 and the cask is ejected to the outside of the reactor by the CRD exchanger.
