Class 89(1) A method of locking nuts, screws &c. comprises adhering the co-operating threads together with highly viscous, non- cross linking, shock-elastic, high molecular-weight dimethyl polysiloxane which is capable of flowing when cold. The material may be employed in a solution or a dispersion, and may be coloured by dyes or pigments. Fillers such as polyvinylchlcride, titanium-dioxide and silicondioxide may be mixed with the material.</p> |
