PURPOSE:To facilitate combustion of the dense bed part and improve fluidization thereof by introduction of the fluidized air at high temperature as the primary air from the lower part of the dense bed. CONSTITUTION:The primary air at high temperature heated by the primary air preheater 42 which is set on the upstream of economizer composed of a part of convertion heat transfer is introduced as a fluidized air (a) from a feed pipe 13 of the fluidized air (a) set on the lower part of a dense bed 9 composed of a fluidized bed zone of a combustor 1. If, like this, the primary air at high temperature is introduced as the fluidized air (a) fed to the lower part of the dense bed 9 from the feed pipe 13, a volume of the air is increased as compared with the case of an introduction of the air at low temperature which is a normal temperature, and the fluidizing condition from a dense bed 8 on the dense bed 9 is also improved because the air jet velocity from a plurality of air nozzles 13A which are set on the feed pipe 13 is increased.
