PURPOSE:To improve flowability, fixability and triboelectrostatic chargeability by specifying a binder, resin shell and core material. CONSTITUTION:The core material contg. a coloring material and binder is sealed by the resin shell. The binder is an oily binder which contains a solid polymer and an org. solvent of >=150 deg.C b.p. capable of dissolving or swelling the solid polymer and has the viscosity ranging 1,000-100,000 cp at 25 deg.C. The resin shell is formed around the core material by a polymn. method selected from a group consisting of an interfacial polymn. method, internal polymn. method and external polymn. method. At least a zircoaluminate coupling agent and/or chromic coupling agent is incorporated into the core material. Not only the flowability but also the electrostatic charge stability and fixability are thereby greatly improved. |
