PURPOSE:To enhance conveniences for riding in and out of a rear seat by comprising a seat cushion of the first cushion part and the second cushion part located thereaft and movable in a fore and aft direction, and moving the second cushion part forward when a seat is positioned at the extreme front position thereof. CONSTITUTION:In a front seat having built-in fore and aft adjustment and walk-in mechanisms, a seat cushion 5 is comprised of the first cushion part 6 fixed to an upper rail 3 freely slidable on a lower rail 2 and the second cushion part 7 positioned aft of the first cushion part 6. The second cushion part 7 is so connected to a support pin 19 as to be movable thereabout in a fore and aft direction, and a housing space 7a for housing a lock mechanism 12 is formed in the second cushion part 7. The lock mechanism 12 is kept locked in a normal service condition, and released from a lock condition when the seat is moved to the extreme front position, thereby enabling a shift to a state wherein the second cushion part 7 is folded forward.
