PURPOSE:To improve the stability of transfer especially from straight advance running to turn running by providing a sinusoidal wave-shaped peripheral directional groove extending in the peripheral direction in the central section of a tire tread and setting the amplitude of the groove and its peripheral direction pitch respectively in a specific proportion. CONSTITUTION:At least one sinusoidal wave-shaped peripheral direction groove 5 is substantially provided extending in the peripheral direction in a central section 1a of a tire tread 1. Here a tire sets amplitude (w) of the peripheral direction groove 5 to 60-20% the tread width TW. While a peripheral direction pitch (p) of the peripheral direction groove 5 is set to 20-5% the tire peripheral length in the center of the tire tread. Further long and short diagonal direction grooves 6, 7 are substantially arranged with an equal space mutually in the peripheral direction in both side sections of the peripheral direction groove 5. In this way, the tire applicable for a dry circuit race or the like called a production race is obtained. |
