PURPOSE:To make a compact hot air generating device by a method wherein a ceramic insulated electrical wire is utilized as the heating source. CONSTITUTION:Ceramic insulated electrical wire is utilized in coils 3 and 3' wound in a stator 1 and a rotor 2 of a heat generating generator. As a core member around which a winding is wound, a normal iron plate is used for improving heat generating characteristics. The core member around the windings of the stator 1 or the rotor 2 is provided with a clearance for improving an air flow. When the winding is connected with an external power supply, the rotor 2 is rotated, and a fan 4 is rotated; at the same time, the stator 1 and the rotor 2 may generate heat. Air sucked through an air intake port 8 passes through an air discharging port 11 of a fixing plate 10, flows into a clearance of the stator 1 or the rotor 2 to cool the stator 1 or the rotor 2. The air itself is heated and then flowed out as hot air through a hot air discharging port 12 of a casing 7.
