PURPOSE:To enhance solubilizing power and an oxidizing rate, by preparing a solubilizing agent by compounding 90wt.% or more of triglycerol monolauric acid ester wherein the Krafft point being the m.p. of a hydrated surfactant is 0 deg.C or lower. CONSTITUTION:At first, high purity triglycerol or a triglycerol derivative is synthesized without using the estrifying reaction of polyglycerine and fatty acid and esterified with fatty acid. The objected triglycerol monolauric acid ester has a low m.p. and shows a pasty state at the ambient temp. However, a part of structural isomers has a Krafft point of 0 deg.C or higher and this component is removed to obtain a surfactant containing 90wt.% or more of triglycerol monolauric acid ester having a Krafft point of 0 deg.C or lower.
