PURPOSE:To keep or restore bladder function without bringing about urinary tract infection over a long time, by connecting the emitting end of the urine guide catheter stayed in the bladder to a pressure control chamber at the same height as the lowermost end part of the outer pipe of a coaxial type siphon pipe or at the part below the lowermost end part thereof. CONSTITUTION:The operational of an auxiliary bladder apparatus at the time of actual use is performed so that the bladder 1 and a pressure control chamber 3 are filled with urine after a definite time and siphon flow is subsequently started to reach a final stage after a definite time and stops at the point of time when the bladder 1 becomes already empty and, on and after, the above- mentioned cycle is successively repeated. Even when the amount of urine stored until the siphon flow is generated in this apparatus is made as little as possible in order to increase the intermittent urination frequency per a day, the emitting end of an urine guide catheter 2 is connected to the pressure control chamber 3 directly or through a connection pie 4 at the same height as the lowermost end part of the outer pipe of a coaxial type siphon pipe or at the part below said lowermost end part to achieve such a purpose that urine in the bladder of a patient is discharged before siphon flow is finished.
