PURPOSE:To obtain a key switch which is convenient to use by employing a structure capable of changing start positions easily while maintaining an unchanged switch characteristic without the necessity of changing the positions and directions of attaching holes and rotation stop portions located on an attachment panel side. CONSTITUTION:When a key 22 is inserted into a hole 29 of a rotor 13, a lock stop is released. When the rotor 13 is turned with the key by 90 deg., a roller turns together with a clutch disk 15 and a cam disk 18, and two operation cam surfaces 17 of the cam disk 18 push a follower portion 19 of each one of plungers 21. This causes the plunger 21 to slide back in the axial direction of a sleeve 6, two working parts 20 push a drive member 11 of a switch 12 projecting to a guide groove 27 and, when the shape of the cam surface 17 is chosen, the key is opened or closed with the two working parts. When the rotor 13 of a lock 9 is turned with the key by 90 deg. in the reverse direction, pressing on the follower portion 19 of the plunger 21 is released, pressing-in of the drive member 11 is released with a spring 23, and the respective switches 12 return to original condition. With this constitution, layout relationship of the keyhole 29 can be changed without changing a formed position of a rotation stop located on a panel side, and open-close start positions of the switch can be changed as required.
