PURPOSE:To simplify battery manufacturing processes and reduce the costs for manufacture by accommodating a group of pole plates in a case formed from a plastic frame and two metal plates in groove fitting therewith, and totally covering it with adhesives of plastic type. CONSTITUTION:Grooves for fitting and fixing 2 are furnished at both ends of a frame 1 made of plastics of polyolefin type, and channel-shaped parts formed at the ends of each metal plate 3 are slidably fitted in these grooves. The plastics of polyolefin type is laminated at the inner surface of each metal plate 3 in contact with the group of pole plates to be accommodated inside. The pole plates are accommodated in the case formed from the plastic frame 1 and two metal plates 3, 3, and the whole construction is immersed in an adhesive 8 of polyurethane type etc., to bond the frame 1 with the metals 3, 3, as well as to form an insulative covering. Thus hot deposition, insulation tube covering, and shrinkage are made in a single process. |
