PURPOSE:To aim at the facilitation of assembly and the promotion of inexpensiveness by dividing a connecting pipe into two parts, while tightening these divided halves themselves with a metallic band via a gasket, in case of a device which interconnects intermediate parts of plural exhaust pipes to each other with a connecting pipe. CONSTITUTION:Each exhaust pipe 3 has plural bending part in each midway, while each of other ends is connected to each muffler. And, at an intermediate part ranging from one side of the bending parts in each exhaust pipe 3 to each muffler, a connecting pipe 5, which interconnects each of these exhaust pipes 3 to each other, is branched off. In this device, the connecting pipe 5 is formed with a single pipe, while it is divided into symmetrical halves 5a and 5b at the central part. The half 5a on one side is expanded at its diameter at the end, and this diametrally expanded part is fitted in an end circumference of the half 5b on the other via a gasket 13. Then, a metallic band 14 is tightened on the fitting part of these halves 5a and 5b, and these halves 5a and 5b are connected to each other.
