<p>The invention relates to a method and a device for controlling the temperature of a laboratory thermostat, which are used at different set bath temperatures and with different media and filling quantities. In this method, a two-stage signal derived in a way known per se from a two-stage controller and converted, by means of an amplifier and a pulse generator, into a constant pulse train having two states, and a continuous signal, controlled in its magnitude by the time behaviour of the two-stage signal and converted by an integrator and a pulse generator into a variable pulse train, are fed to an amplifier, combined as a main signal and fed to a control valve arranged before the heating device. For this purpose, a two-stage controller is connected to a summing amplifier leading to the control valve, both via an integrator and a pulse generator with a summing element and via an amplifier and a pulse generator, the control valve and the heating device connected to the two-stage controller and to the identification control being connected together to the mains, and the identification control being coupled to the first pulse generator.</p> |
