PURPOSE:To perform efficient compression of data with comparatively simple constitution, by performing the compression of the data based on the combination of the data and continuous number of the data only for the data with high appearance frequency. CONSTITUTION:An appearance frequency count part 2 counts the appearance frequency of the data to be compressed, and a detecting part 3 takes out N number of data in sequence of the data having high appearance frequency, and a same data continuous number count part 4 counts the number of the continuous data. And the compression of the data is performed by expressing only the data with the high appearance frequency by using the continuous number, and using other data as they are. In such a way, since only the data with the high appearance frequency is replaced by the value and the repeating number of the data, the compression can be efficiently performed. |
