PURPOSE:To facilitate winding work, by separating each pole section from a stator ring in a coupled state each other and by making a stator winding from the base edge in an open state. CONSTITUTION:A stator core 1 of a step motor is composed of a pole section body 8 into which many pole sections 3 are formed integrally in a ring through each coupled section 3a and a stator ring 2 having pole section fitting holes 2a. This pole section body 8 and the ring 2 are formed separately and independently each other, while each pole section 3 is formed radially and at each rotating angle, of which at each outer edge base edges 3b are formed. On the outside circumference of each pole section 3 stator windings 7 are wound from the opened base edges 3b. On the inside diameter teeth sections 5 having multiple small teeth 4 are formed and each base edge 3b is integrally coupled to pole section fitting holes 2a by adhesion, etc. Thus by cutting off each coupled section 3a, a stator core is obtained.
