PURPOSE:To improve the ability of thickening the dot of the titled material, and to prevent the generation of a pinhole by incorporating the fine particle of a nonphotosensitive metal halide having <=0.20mum mean particle size and a compd. capable of reducing a specified spectral sensitivity, in a nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer. CONSTITUTION:The titled material is constituted of at least one layer of a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and the nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer laminated on said emulsion layer which is mounted on a supporting body. And, the fine particle of the nonphotosensitive metal halide having <=0.20mum mean particle size is substantially incorporated in the nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer, and the compd. capable of reducing the spectral sensitivity at a wavelength of >=450nm is incorporated in the nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer. Namely, said compd. is fixed on the nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer by adsorbing said compd. to said layer by Coulomb's force or van der Waal's force. The fine particle of the metal halide has a large surface area, and has preferably less than 0.20mum mean particle size. Thus, the titled material has the ability of thickening the dot and the improved pin hole preventing characteristics. |
