PURPOSE:To perform monolithic molding of a lens of a predetermined form on a smooth curved surface of the lens having a predetermined thickness by preventing generation of a distortion and sink on the surface of the lens, by a method wherein both surface lenses are molded beforehand into forms of both the sides of the lens to be molded. CONSTITUTION:Cavities 5, 6 in a concave form corresponding to both side concave surface forms of a concave lens 2 to be molded are engraved respectively on a joint surface. Surface layer lenses 10, 10 each are molded of a transparent synthetic resin of the same raw materials as that of the concave lens 2 into the concave form and molded respectively thin in correspondence to both the side concave surface forms of the molding concave lens 2. As a spatial part to be formed of the lenses 10, 10 is narrower than a thickness of the concave lens 2 to be molded, the synthetic resin 12 to be pressed in flows over the insides of the lenses 10, 10 and pressed in to the nook and corner of the spaces evenly. The synthetic resin 12 filled out the spatial part within the lenses 10, 10 is solidified evenly. After the synthetic resin 12 and the surface layer lenses 10, 10 each have been integrated after the lapse of a predetermined period of time, the solidified concave lens 2 is removed by separating the mold frame 3 from the mold frame 4. |
