PURPOSE:To change the amplitude of an output analog signal without lowering resolution, by changing and outputting the peak value of the output pulse signal of a pulse number modulator by a peak value converter. CONSTITUTION:The pulse number modulator 11 outputs a prescribed number of pulses synchronized with a clock signal K inputted from a terminal PO to a terminal C according to a digital signal inputted to a terminal DI, and the peak value converter 12 changes the peak value of the output pulse signal of the pulse number modulator 11 inputted to a terminal I according to a level signal L inputted to a terminal V, and outputs it from a terminal O, and an analog lowpass filter 13 attenuates and outputs an unrequired high-pass component out of the output signal of the peak value converter 12. In such a way, it is possible to change the amplitude of an outputted analog signal without necessitating to prepare a large scale digital circuit and lowering the resolution.
