1. Method for obtaining higher alkyl acrylates or methacrylates, whose alkyl chains have more than two carbon atoms, which contain low concentrations of polymerization inhibitors and of catalysts, through the transesterification of methyl or ethyl acrylates or methacrylates with the corresponding higher alcohols, in the presence of titanium alcoxides as catalysts and of polymerization inhibitors and, possibility, of an agent for faciliting the azetropic removal of the methyl or ethyl alcohols produced during the reaction, characterized in that aminophenols or aminomethylphenols are used as polymerization inhibitors. |
